BFGoodrich®’s Dakar Village display!

BFGoodrich®’s 150-square metre, experiential stand in the Dakar Village could barely be more prominently visible. Its entry, just opposite the official podium, is picked out by oriflamme banners. The village opened at 2pm on Wednesday, January 3, and will remain in place for three days to provide Lima residents with a taste of the Dakar during the countdown to the start.

The BFGoodrich® stand is hosting a number of attractions over the three days, from a climbing wall and a mini-race circuit featuring mini off-road vehicles to augmented-reality videos presented by French star Sébastien Loeb, not to mention an autograph session with Peugeot’s drivers and the winner of our special Good Project Dakar Edition competition on Friday. As the Dakar’s official tire supplier, BFGoodrich® has pulled out all the stops to enable visitors to enjoy the thrills of this exceptional human adventure from the inside and push their personal boundaries.

There is also be a daily draw to try and win a chance to take part in a number of activities at a venue close to Lima, ranging from a parachute jump and rock climbing to driving. BFGoodrich® goodies are up for grabs, too.

So, hurry to the Pentagonito in the San Borja army camp where the Dakar Village is based and where the 40th edition of the rally is due to start on Saturday, January 6!
