Quebec, QC - June 2, 2008 Smoking tires, tight turns and epic drifts are what it's all about for the BFGoodrich team competing in the 2008 Drift Mania Canadian Championships (DMCC). The DMCC season officially kicked off June 1 at the Autodrome de Montmagny in Quebec City. "DMCC is a great venue to showcase the quality and performance of BFGoodrich tires," says Maria Mandato, BFGoodrich Drift Team manager. "In fact, BFGoodrich has already enjoyed great success in the United States with Samuel Hübinette being a two-time Formula Drift champion". The BFGoodrich Drift Team, comprised of Tania Bourbonnais and Ryan Lanteigne, will be smoking their tires from Quebec to Alberta in six different competitions that run from June to the end of September. "Look for us all season," says Team BFGoodrich Driver Tania Bourbonnais, the first female driver to ever compete in the DMCC. "We've got the confidence we need thanks to the proper equipment, including BFGoodrich g-Force T/A®KDW tires." Bourbonnais has more than eight years of experience racing everything from 125cc Shifter Karts to F1600 cars, while Lanteigne is a professional driver for automotive ride and drives across North America. Both love the thrill of competition and are proud to be making BFGoodrich Tire history this summer with their participation. "We're a very strong team," says Lanteigne. "Both Tania and I have very unique driving styles that work very well together. We're definitely there to perform and give a good show this season."
