Michelin initiates legal proceedings against the FIA
Michelin initiates legal proceedings against the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) before the Tribunal de Grande Instance de Paris and requests that the 27 February 2007 decision of the World Motor Sport Council of the FIA granting Pirelli the exclusive supply of tyres for the 2008-2009-2010 World Rally Championships (WRC) be annulled due to irregularities in the tender process.

Rally Mexico - Loeb's 30th WRC Win And Citroen C4 Wrc's First Success On Gravel
Sébastien Loeb and Daniel Elena were back in their winning ways this weekend. The fact that Rally Mexico marked the new BFGoodrich-shod Citroën C4 WRC's debut on gravel – the surface which makes up more than half the World Championship – added to the significance of their triumph. Loeb's main rival Marcus Grönholm recovered from a slow start to claim 2nd place, while his Ford/BFGoodrich team-mate Mikko Hirvonen came out of his fierce fight with Dani Sordo (Citroën/BFGoodrich) and Chris Atkinson (Subaru/BFGoodrich) to clinch 3rd spot on the final morning.

Safari Rally - Andrea Navarra and FIAT/BFGoodrich Take IRC Honours in the First Round of 2007 Series
Andrea Navarra steered his Abarth-prepared Fiat Grande Punto S2000 running on BFGoodrich tyres to IRC honours on the opening round of the 2007 Intercontinental Rally Challenge. The Italian won the IRC classification of the Safari Rally in Kenya by a margin of six minutes over Japan's Hideaki Miyochi (Mitsubishi). The next round of the competition takes place in Turkey in May.
